Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to complete Phases 1 and 2 before taking Phase 3? Phase 3 builds on the sketching and concept development skills from previous phases. If you already have strong sketching ability, I recommend still starting in Phase 2 first since this is the final step in the process.
Will I build a complete portfolio project? Yes. By the end of the bootcamp you'll have a fully developed transportation design project, including your story, renderings, portfolio pages, presentation materials, and a polished final presentation.
Do I need experience with Vizcom or AI tools? No. You'll learn the workflow step by step. The focus isn't on letting AI design for you it's on using AI as a visualization tool while maintaining complete creative control.
Will I learn how to build my portfolio website? Yes. You'll learn how to organize your project, create portfolio pages, and publish your work in a professional format suitable for design school or job applications.
Will this help me get into design school or land a job? Phase 3 teaches many of the skills expected in professional portfolio reviews, including storytelling, presentation, portfolio organization, and interview preparation. While no course can guarantee admission or employment, the goal is to help you present your work at a much higher level.
How is this different from Phase 2? Phase 2 focuses on creating original concepts. Phase 3 focuses on transforming those concepts into a professional portfolio project through development, refinement, and presentation.
Will I receive portfolio feedback? There are live recordings from a real class that answer many common questions you would ask. If you want personalized feedback, I suggest the Portfolio Accelerator which helps you build a portfolio project in 8 weeks.
